Coming Soon!

MystiCon 2013

I've known for a little while, but now its official: I will be a guest at MystiCon 2013!

For those who don't know, MystiCon is a great SF convention in Roanoke, Virgina.  The convention will take place February 22-24, 2013.

We had a wonderful time this year and we're really looking forward to returning next year.  If it is in your travel radius, you should really consider coming.  I think you'll be glad you did.

21 Plots: Planetside Review

Steve Attwood at Alegis Downport has reviewed 21 Plots: Planetside.

He gives it an excellent review.  Check it out!

(and when you do, wish Alegis Downport a Happy Birthday!)

Gagnon and Slaren

Quick Worlds 7 and 8 have now received the update treatment.  All of the Quick Worlds will now have the same general look about the interior text.

And yes, Slaren still includes the brewmaster career track!

Dimme and Hendershot

Well, as promised, two more "repaired" versions of our earlier works have been posted.  Quick Worlds 5 and 6 have now been updated.

Quick Worlds 7 and 8 will get this treatment soon and that should complete the updates.

Roskilde and Monroe

A few months back I promised everyone that I would go back and update some of the older Quick Worlds and "bring them up to date a bit" as well as repair some of the errata.

Well, honestly, I've been so busy working on the newer projects that I neglected that a bit.  Previously, we had updated Kyiv and Fairfax.  Now we've updated Roskilde and Monroe.

More of these corrected versions are coming.  I promise.  But for now, its back to work on some new projects.

Game Session 2 At Mysticon

A photo from Mysticon.

This is from the second Traveller session.  That's me behind the screen.  That's Larry Gibson in the brown, his fiancee Sherri Brewer beside him, and his daughter Christina Gibson behind her.  On the right side, that's Brian Rucker closest to me and Paul Cardullo closer to the camera.

Now Available!

Gypsy Knights Games is proud to announce the release of two new products.

21 Plots: Planetside presents 21 planet based situations with 6 possible outcomes for the Referee to use with a gaming group.

These can be useful not only when planning a short diversion from the main campaign, but also on those occasions where the players stray from the anticipated path.

21 Plots: Planetside can be purchased for $4.99 or as part of the new 63 Plots Bundle for $11.97.

Quick Worlds 23: Ararat details a world almost completely covered in water. The local population, however, is terrified of The Deep and live in fear of the ocean. Visit a world where the people are huddled on 7% of the world's surface.

Come to Ararat! Avoid the storms! Dodge a landslide! See the Grand Hall of the Triumvirate!

And get an additional world, the frozen water world of Durupinar. Located in the same system as Ararat, it is ruled by a corporation dedicated to exploiting its bounty. See the ice structures! Fish for the elusive and oily Three Eye!

Quick Worlds 23: Ararat has been designed with the busy Referee in mind. Both Ararat and Durupinar are meant to be interesting and exciting places that can be easily added into any existing Traveller campaign.

And short of ideas? We've added several adventure hooks to get your creative juices flowing and allow you to make a visit to the Ararat system one your characters will remember.

Comes with a printer-friendly black and white system map as well as a full-color chart.

"Traveller" and the Traveller logo are Trademarks owned by Far Future Enterprises, Inc. and are used with permission. The Traveller Main Rulebook is available from Mongoose Publishing.

Rough Weather

Had some rough spring weather roll through here last night.  All is well with us and we've had reports from the rest of the Gypsy crew that all is well with them too.

My wife, Wendy, shot these pics from our driveway.  We weren't sure that this hit the ground until reports started coming in from TV, radio, and other friends.  Its our understanding from local news that no one was killed, but there were injuries and several homes damaged.
