Quick Update

A quick update here.  Currently, in the final stages of one product that will be big (and I mean that literally.... the bulkiest book from us yet!).

In addition, we're in the early-middle stage of another product that I think will be a fun addition to one of our series.

And I've spent some time talking to the good folks at MystiCon.   Really looking forward to getting up there in a few weeks.

More details later!

Accidental Previews And Coincidence

Well, those of you who bought Karnataka and/or Minerva before this afternoon got a little something extra and unintended.  Due to a small mistake, I left in the name of the subsector book in which both will be appearing.  Consider it a sneak preview!

And speaking of that subsector book, I'm currently writing a world for that book which has violent weather.  Currently, my house is being slammed by high winds from a storm.  Totally coincidental I assure you.

Karnataka and Minerva have been released!

Our two newest worlds have been released!

Quick Worlds 21: Karnataka

Karnataka is a dry world with a few small seas. It is controlled by two rulers who have divided the power between themselves equally. Or have they?

Come to Karnataka. Search for the elusive Mulki Monster. Sample the Portis fruit. Avoid the Gadag. Keep your spirit balanced.

Quick Worlds 22: Minerva

Minerva is a world almost covered in water. Its islands are ruled by a dictator driven to build a better world.

Come to Minerva! Join the massive building programs. Search out the mysterious base in the inner system. Learn about the Manly Trunion incident.

Both Karnataka and Minerva have been designed with the busy Referee in mind. Both worlds are meant to be interesting and exciting places that can be easily added into any existing Traveller campaign.

And short of ideas? We've added several adventure hooks to get your creative juices flowing and allow you to make a visit to either world one your characters will remember.

Comes with a printer-friendly black and white system map as well as a full-color chart.

Look for other worlds in our Quick Worlds line coming soon!

"Traveller" and the Traveller logo are Trademarks owned by Far Future Enterprises, Inc. and are used with permission. The Traveller Main Rulebook is available from Mongoose Publishing.

Alegis Downport Reveiws Quick Worlds 18 and 19

Alegis Downport has reviewed Quick Worlds 18: Era and Quick Worlds 19: Etxarte.

He does it in a very interesting fashion by placing the worlds near each other and demonstrating quite well how the worlds can be used to create adventures.

You can read his review, titled "The Chivalrous Traveller" here.

It is great stuff and a fine example of how the QW books can be used.

New System Map Format

As I said in our last post, we have been working on a new format which we hope will be more visually pleasing.  We think we've found that.

Here is an example of what you'll be seeing in the future.

And don't fret.  We do realize that while these may (we hope) be pleasing to your eye, they will not be pleasing to your printer.  We will continue to include the printer friendly black and white "circles" (as we call it) diagram in the back of each Quick Worlds book AND future subsector books as well.

We appreciate the faith you've shown in us so far and we intend to honor that faith with the best products we can produce.  We will always continue to strive to make sure you get something you can use to run a great game for your players.

We've been doing this for 11 months now and we've made vast improvements over our first products and we promise to continue those strides.

Thanks for being there with us and we hope you'll enjoy what we come up with next.

Working the System

Spent the day working on system maps. Trying to improve the old system maps and make them something that's a bit more visually pleasing than the black and white "circles" map that usually shows up in the Quick Worlds.
